Not Alone

Listen to your words
Given out advice
Sometimes not heard
Have to say them twice

Know every move
All becomes routine
Forever in the shadow
Never to be seen

Don’t notice anyone watching
No one else can abide
Think the wind moves the leaves?
Find somewhere else to hide

Hearing a whisper
Conjuring up a spell
The winds begins to swirl
Still cannot tell

Standing out from the crowd
Yet hidden in plain view
Keep our little secret
How many others knew?

Looking in the mirror
Wiping away the dust
Seeing what is behind
Ignore the echoes of must

At last telling the truth
Fared much better than most
And it shouldn’t change a thing
But I’m really a ghost

About markious72

Here I wish to let my strange and vivid imagination and opinions run wild. I do hope you like what you read. I would love to be a writer, I won't pretend otherwise. Although it is only in the last couple of years that I have realised it. I guess if it meant to happen it will. Happy reading, happier writing. :-)
