Mr Speaker

To clarify our position
We’re sticking with indecision
Can all do as you please?
Once paid tuition fees
No ruling of iron fist
Once you conform to the list

Introduce budget restraint
Promoted peer to a saint
Investigation into expenses
Auditors sit on new fences
NHS reform
Public sector scorn
Tackling problems head on
Turn your back and they’re gone

Diesel cheap to buy
Toxins cause us to die
Closing hospitals while you wait
Immigrants pile through the gate
Desperate people at the border
Plush fools shout ‘Order order’
Pay inheritance tax
‘Non-doms’ can relax

An equal candidate debate
When outnumbered one to eight
Cut opponent some slack
Then launch personal attack
Councils do as they please
Some more quantitative ease
At ninety three million a year
Time to say ‘here here’

About markious72

Here I wish to let my strange and vivid imagination and opinions run wild. I do hope you like what you read. I would love to be a writer, I won't pretend otherwise. Although it is only in the last couple of years that I have realised it. I guess if it meant to happen it will. Happy reading, happier writing. :-)
