Please Come Home

She held it close the mobile phone
Just tonight she wouldn’t moan
There had been a crash on the M25
She did hope he was still alive

All those rows
Over nothing
The toilet seat up
Putting out the bin

The toothpaste squeezed
From the wrong place
Right now she just wants
To see his face

They had been trying
For a while
Right now
Wants to see his smile

Now she is certain
She has some news
Now they have
Nothing to lose

She thought about how they both could change
All those things to rearrange
New colours, a whole new theme
Should be a reality and not a dream

Please come home
Please be here
Oh tonight
She wanted him near

She hoped and prayed
It was out of her hands
She would have to wait
Before making plans

They could both change
And not antagonise
The love they have
Still in their eyes

As the tears started forming
She saw the headlights
From this day on
No more fights

About markious72

Here I wish to let my strange and vivid imagination and opinions run wild. I do hope you like what you read. I would love to be a writer, I won't pretend otherwise. Although it is only in the last couple of years that I have realised it. I guess if it meant to happen it will. Happy reading, happier writing. :-)
